Patch 0.906 will be released tomorrow. We are trying to not let anything slip between fingers and that’s why we attempt to check and fix everything. We have to admit that splitting one patch to two small brought a handful of chaos into our balanced work process. But as we told you earlier we’ll release this patch, so players won’t face new errors and if it’ll be necessary we’ll make adjustments and start preparations to patch supporting the map editor. As you can see there is a lot of work to do.

  • Crackdown on those who didn’t want to sleep

At this week we were busy by little routine tasks but we had some exceptions here. Today Denis has been talking about curious  disobedient armies (they refused to go sleep) bug: “They went to buildings too early, they checked their watches (ahh, it’s too early!), and tried to exit and sort their personal business instead simple “go to bed” . “Go to building, go to bed” was important task list priority for units so they never exited, decided that they reached their final destination, waited 10 minutes and tried to exit again”. As you can guess command “go to bed” worked only at building entrance and that’s why unsavvy warriors were doomed to go to bed and wake up whole night, and after dawn of new day army of owls were busy by scaring people of cities and villages until the next evening.

Dmitry completed one more formidable task (editing the Trever map) and proceeded to his core duties — animation of the bosses.

  • Lost in Compilation

At Wednesday work almost stopped! Because our current game compiler got a bit old Nicolay attempted to compile code using half-year old version. It lead to a few hours jam. Our QA testers were put under serious stress — there were SO many critical and incompatibility errors. It turned to be out that old “Legends of Eisenwald” code is not fully compatible with the new compiler. All things are difficult before they are easy. We rolled back to the old version.

We hope that everything will be fine and you can reap the fruits of our hard work by the end of this week. We are waiting for your opinion and comments on our official forum or Steam community forum.
